Welcome Aboard!
Ultimate Fun! • Ultimate Relaxation!
Captain Hook’s Lake Murray Tours is your portal to fun and relaxation on beautiful Lake Murray. I invite you to enjoy southern hospitality aboard my personal boat. I love to share boating on Lake Murray with locals and visitors and customize each cruise as you would like according to your timeframe and expectations.
Lake Murray is a boating paradise. If you like leisurely cruising, try our new 2021 Barletta luxury pontoon for a couple of hours or all day. There are several restaurants with water views for snacks, lunch or dinner or simply bring along your favorite food and beverages.
There are many coves, islands and hundreds of miles of coastline to explore, with sandy beaches to play on, swim or just dip your toes in the water. Every tour on Lake Murray is uniquely different. We just never know what we might see! Maybe a majestic bald eagle, a great blue heron, a variety of ducks or Canadian geese flying overhead. In July and August witness the magical purple Martin fly in to Bomb Island at one of North America’s largest purple martin roosts.
So, whether it’s lunch or dinner at a lakeside restaurant, a corporate charter, bachelor or bachelorette party, sunset cruise, viewing exclusive lake homes, birthday celebration, family fun or just a lazy day exploring coves and islands … call or text to set up your next adventure.
I hold a US Coast Guard license to carry passengers, a homeland security marine clearance (TWIC) and a Red Cross first aid/CPR certificate and pride myself on safety.
I look forward to meeting you and your friends and welcome any questions you may have.

About Your Captain
As a young boy, I spent my summers growing up on Lake Murray. My dad was an avid fisherman and our family spent the summer’s fishing, water skiing and exploring different islands. A love of all things related to boating ensued.
Then, as a teenager, a natural curiosity for airplanes led to my first flight lesson at age eighteen. Three short years later, I was flying jets for a living and attained an Airline Transport Pilot’s license. Corporate aviation was my career, but my love for boating never faded. Though different, they share a demand for attention to detail and a desire to never stop learning. Therefore, I acquired my USCG masters 100 ton captain’s license, allowing corporate offshore deliveries of larger vessels from New York to the Bahamas. Additionally, while living in Vero Beach, Florida and Charleston, SC I ran yacht charters, cruises and tours along the inland waterways.
Flying and boating did not come without specific opportunities for overcoming challenges. As you can see in the photos, I was born with a left arm that extended just below the elbow.
And so, Captain Hook was born!*
Welcome aboard!!
